Lic. Ilse Madrazo Butze

Ilse holds a Bachelor of Law degree, and a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade by the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), State of Mexico Campus.

She is currently a Partner at INTRADE Smart Law Firm and the Administrative and Regulatory Director.

She participates as spokesperson and publications coordinator for Veritas magazine issued by the Foreign Trade Technical Commission of the Colegio de Contadores Publicos of Mexico City.

She has been legal advisor of national and foreign companies in matters regarding:

Free Trade Agreements, due completion of Certificate of Origin forms, Export Promotion Programs, customs valuation, tax calculation, foreign trade audits, foreign trade strategic planning, Mexican Foreign Trade Digital Window, among others.

She has assisted national and foreign firms in audits by foreign governments in relation to origin pursuant to various Free Trade Agreements, cooperating in various applicable legal entities.

She has been case examiner of Free Trade Agreements executed by Mexico, Certificates of Origin, T-MEC (USMCA, in Spanish), DR-CAFTA, among others

in various governmental entities, entrepreneurial and academic organizations such as the Secretariat of Economy, SAT (Tax Administration Service, in Spanish), ProMexico, Camara Nacional de Comercio, Colegio de Contadores Publicos de San Luis Potosi, Universidad Autonoma de Merida, ITESM Monterrey, Office of Mexico’s Attorney General, Instituto Interamericano de Fronteras y Aduanas, among others.

She wrote the book “Introduccion al Comercio Internacional” for the SAT National Fiscal Training Institute.

She wrote the Manual titled “Reglas de Origen de los Tratados y Acuerdos Comerciales suscritos por Mexico” for the SAT.

She collaborated in publishing the book “Comercio exterior, aspectos relevantes para contadores” for the Instituto Mexicano de Contadores Publicos as member of the Foreign Trade Commission.
